This page explains what account and operational data Gjallr processes, why it is used, and the baseline safeguards that support the product.
Gjallr is built to help teams receive, organize, and respond to incidents. To do that, the product needs to process account information, workspace settings, and service activity generated by the workflows you enable.
Information we collect
During signup and normal product use, Gjallr processes account information such as your email address, authentication identifiers, workspace details, and product configuration data required to deliver the service.
- Identity and access details such as email addresses, authentication claims, and user identifiers.
- Workspace setup details such as workspace name, slug, region choice, and membership state.
- Operational records such as alert metadata, routing configuration, escalation settings, and audit events.
How we use information
We use this information to create and secure accounts, support onboarding, route alerts, maintain audit and operational records, and improve reliability and product experience. Optional product-update preferences are used only for the communications you explicitly choose to receive.
Legal and operational bases
We process information to provide the service you request, maintain the security and integrity of the platform, respond to support needs, and meet legitimate operational, legal, and compliance obligations associated with running the product.
Security and retention
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect service data in transit and at rest. Information is retained for as long as needed to operate the service, meet security and compliance needs, and support legitimate business records.
Product communications
Required service communications, such as authentication flows, access confirmations, or security-related notices, may still be sent when necessary to operate the product. Optional product updates are controlled by the marketing preference you choose during signup or later account management.
Sharing
Gjallr does not publish your private account data publicly. Information may be shared with infrastructure and service providers only as needed to operate the platform, enforce security controls, and fulfill the product capabilities you use.
We may also disclose information when required to comply with law, protect users and the service, investigate abuse, or enforce platform rights and restrictions.
Your choices
Workspace administrators can generally update account and membership details inside the product. If you need help correcting account information, handling an onboarding issue, or addressing a privacy question that the product does not expose directly, contact your Gjallr representative or support channel.
